2/7/1999 CollectorsTab is painting again today. I would have liked to have taken the twins to Romp Around or McDonald's playland, but I didn't think Stephen would be up to a lot of running around, though he does seem better. We did go for a walk before lunch today. It was very cold when the wind blew, but at least the sun was shining. Stephen picked up another white stone for his collection. The boys will often find stones or feathers on our walk. I don't allow these treasures in the house, so the boys pile them on the front steps like votive offerings. In the summer they pick dandelions and clover, which they add to the collection; in the fall, they like to look for the horse chestnuts and acorns that fall from the trees down the street. The walk must have tired the boys out. They slept for over three hours this afternoon. I finally had to wake them up. Stephanie brought Daniel back a little earlier than she originally planned because we are expecting a storm with freezing rain or snow tonight.
